As a technology first company, we’re currently looking for an Agile Product Owner to join our team. 

The Role:

As an Agile Product Owner at FTS, you will report to the Head of Product Development with the responsibility of supporting the stability, growth and vision of our core content platform. You will oversee the development of the platform to ensure that it is built in a scalable way to represent the growing needs of our business.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders, architects, engineering managers, cross-functional product teams, and developers to implement valuable features that enhance the overall product.
  • Work with the R&D team to ensure that the product is in line with industry innovations in both travel and technology.
  • Align stakeholders with the product vision and motivate teams to achieve quarterly roadmap targets.
  • Work with product leaders to develop and maintain the product roadmap.
  • Manage KPI monitoring and reporting.
  • Align product teams to identify improvement opportunities and create reusable components.
  • Establish product requirements, set priorities, and manage user expectations with scrum teams.
  • Participate in all agile ceremonies as the product Subject Matter Expert (SME).
  • Translate requirements into clearly defined EPICs and stories for technical teams.
  • Establish acceptance criteria and collaborate with QA on test case designs.
  • Report on team output and continually optimize processes to ensure productivity.
  • Work closely with the change management team on implementation projects to ensure adherence to best practices.
  • Identify internal dependencies, risks, and prioritize high-priority tasks accordingly.

Experience/Skills Required:

  • 3+ years of diverse experience in a product role.
  • 7+ years of experience in airline and/or travel technology, including implementation experience.
  • Agile Product Owner certification is required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or MBA preferred.
  • Knowledge of software architecture, REST, cloud platform, platform engineering, micro-services, and third-party integrations.
  • Strategic thinker with strong experience in data-backed decision making.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Resilient with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in articulating ideas across technical teams, product teams, and business stakeholders.
  • Passion for problem-solving, thinking outside the box, and root cause analysis.
  • Ability to unite teams and communicate ideas across multiple teams and stakeholders.
